Course: Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development for Employability
Summary: This course will help you to consider the importance of goal setting for your own personal development and understand where to find job opportunities and to identify the sources of Information about job vacancies.
Eligibility:
- Must be 19+ as of the 31/08/23
- Have the right to work in the UK, proof of ID
- Be either unemployed or earning less than £25,6642.50
- Must live in a London Borough.
To access this course you will need: good general communication skills in English and English literacy proficiency at Entry Level 3 or above.Cost: Free *subject to meeting eligibility criteria*.

Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
Course: Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
Summary: Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care qualification is suitable for those who are looking to work in, or widen their knowledge of, the adult social care sector. The course will develop your knowledge of the responsibilities of adult social care workers, the diverse needs of the people using the services, and other important factors such as abuse and safeguarding.
Entry requirements:
HRUC Apprenticeships and Skills has to give priority to applicants who are in receipt of the four main benefits: Job Seekers Allowance, Employment Support Allowance, Universal Credit, Income Support. Training is free for people with Right to Work in the UK, proof of ID, learners or their spouses must have been a resident in UK/EU for the last 3 years. To be eligible whilst working, those living inside the Greater London Area need to earn less than £25,6642.50.
To access this course you will need: basic understanding in ICT and English literacy proficiency at Entry Level 3 or above.
Cost: Free *subject to meeting eligibility criteria*.
Qualification: Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
Level: Level 2
Duration: 10 weeks (1 half day per week)
